Folios 286-287: [H. Worth?], Commanding Sea Fencibles from Emsworth to Littlehampton, Chichester. Pressed six excellent men from Selsey, and dispatched Lieutenant Trotter with them to Portsmouth. Has received no other instructions than a press warrant. Requests directions about charging the expense, and what sum to charge for the Sea Fencibles who are called out on such occasions. There are many men to be picked up on this part of the coast.
