Folios 314-315: George Wolfe, HMS Aigle, at sea off Brest. Recommends Alexander Steel, Gunner, for promotion to Officer. Mr. Steel has 20 years good service and 10 years in his present position. He is enclosing sundry certificates from former Captains. The enclosure is no longer present.
Folio 316: enclosure with folios 324-315. List of 26 French prisoners aboard HMS L'Aigle.
