Folios 288-289: Robert Winthrop, HMS Ardent off Dungeness. Advised by Lord Keith to report that Thomas Garbert is now on board HMS Ardent. He has been at sea for 17 years and was impressed into service on 7 August 1803 from the Eliza South whaler as a man fit for service and not having any protection.
