Captured ship: Turnip or Raap of Middelburg, otherwise Raap (commander Jacobus Michaelson Pitran of Flushing)
History: a Dutch privateer (30 tons, built at Middelburg), bound on a cruise from [Middelburg?]; which on 8/18 February 1673/1674 took the English merchant ship Speedwell of Millbrook (20 tons), bound from Falmouth to Plymouth, laden with tin, and transferred the tin aboard; taken on 10/20 February 1673/1674 about 6 leagues west of Plymouth by HMS Pearl (Thomas Booth commanding), and brought into Plymouth on 11/21 February 1673/1674.
