Description

Captured ship: Tiger of Middelburg (commander Gores Jasperson of Flushing)

History: a Dutch privateer (60 tons, built in the Dutch Republic), bound on a cruise from [Middelburg?]; taken on 6/16 April 1673 by HMS Adventure (John Tyrwhitt commanding) and brought into Mount's Bay, Cornwall, on the same day.

Court Papers, numbered CP 1-2:-

  • [CP 1]: standing interrogatories;
  • [CP 2]: three examinations taken at Plymouth, 10 April 1673.
