Captured ship: Susanna of Weymouth, otherwise Susan (master Henry Feaver; prize master Popa Popus of Amsterdam, otherwise Poppe Poppensz)
History: an English merchant ship (frigate, 30-60 tons, 7 prize crew), bound from Seville to Weymouth and London, laden with oranges, lemons, fruits and wine; taken on 22 December 1673/1 January 1674 about 30 leagues northwest, or about 20 leagues north northwest of Finisterre, or in 44° 24’N, by the 24-gun Dutch privateer Isabella Katherine of Amsterdam, otherwise Ijsabella Cattrijna (Dowe Harcus, otherwise Douwe Harcxz, Harckessen, commanding); retaken on 26 December 1673/5 January 1674 about 8-9 leagues off the Lizard by HMS Dartmouth (Edward Pinn commanding) and brought into Plymouth on 28 December 1673/1677 January 1674.
