History: an English merchant ship ([90 tons]), [bound from Lisbon to London, laden with sugar and fruit; taken about 22-24 January 1672/1673 about 3 leagues off Plymouth by 2 Dutch privateers (of 14- and 8 guns), that later went into a creek near the Lizard, their crews went ashore raiding, taking the master, who escaped; no details of the ship's recapture or of the receiving port are available]. Owned by Christopher Marshall of Southwark, Benjamin Moore, and other unnamed English subjects.
