Folios 250-251: Samuel Warren, Bredgar, Sittingbourne, Kent. Following the loss of HMS Hindostan is sending a proposal for preventing a similar disaster.
Folio 252-253: enclosure with folios 250-251. Proposal dated 18 May 1804 from Samuel Warren to the Admiralty. The Hindostan storeship was lost in a fire which deprived the Mediterranean fleet of the much needed supplies and the Woolwich nearly suffered the same fate on her arrival at Port Royal, Jamaica. He believes this was due to a lack of air being circulated and makes a proposal to solve the problem.
