Folios 239-240: Henry Waring, HMS Serapis, Carlisle Bay, Barbados. Concerns the illegal capture and plundering of the French ship La Julie on the coast of Africa by HMS Dart, HMS Ann and HMS Princess Amelia. When the latter 2 arrived here he reported them to the Court of the Vice Admiralty of this Island but the Masters of both vessels having died during the voyage from Guinea the Court decided to dismiss them. HMS Princess Amelia bought a schooner, the Dophin, with her plunder which with HMS Dart sailed for England. He is sending the depositions taken at the time and an account given by the current Commander regarding the plunder which will enable the offenders to be prosecuted.
