Captured ship: Rumblepot [Rommelpot ?] of Flushing, otherwise Rumber (commander Joor Cornelissen, otherwise Cornelisz).
History: a Dutch privateer (galliot hoy, 100 tons, built in Holland), bound on a cruise from Flushing; taken in June on 24 March/3 April 1673 after running ashore at Folkestone in a 2-hour boarding action, following a chase and 2-hour fight in the Dover Strait, by the privateer John of Dover (John Steele commanding) and brought into Dover.
Allegation (6 August 1673) in Steele (now deceased) v The Rumblepot.
