Folios 371-372: Daniel Woodriff, HMS Calcutta, Chatham. He has had the Gunner examined and encloses a statement of the result. The Gunner has served 24 years in HM Ships. He has no knowledge of Mr Leonard, the Gunner of HMS Galatea, but his certifcates are very strong. Encloses a state and condition report of his ship and of the Gun Brig, HMS Monkey.
Folio 373: enclosure with folios 371-372. Medical certificate dated 26 November 1802 from Hugh Muchterarth, Surgeon of Chatham Yard, Edward Bromley, HMS [Sanphon?], and HMT, HMS Calcutta stating Ephraim Robinson, Gunner of HMS Calcutta, is afflicated with chronic rheumatism rendering him incapable of performing his duty.
