Folios 359-360: Daniel Woodriff, HMS Calcutta, Chatham. Asks to know which port the prisoners will be embarked and their numbers. The ship is not yet ready, but he wishes to be completely stowed and ready to proceed on the voyage as soon as the prisoners are embarked. Also wishes to know the number of passengers going as settlers and the colonial stores. He cannot determine what ballast should be taken on until this information is received.
