Folios 268-269: [James Athol] Wood, HMS Acasta, Guernsey Roads. Encloses a report on the condition of ships at Guernsey. HMS Determinee and HMS Aurora sailed through onto Jersey. He has ordered HMS Blanche to cruise to the north and west of the Island and HMS Nimble to the north and east of the Island to procure seamen from inward bound ships. Following orders not to impress men in the Guernsey Road, he has ordered Captain Hill, HMS Camilla not to impress onshore or in Jersey Road and to give up those he impressed prior to receipt of his letter.
