Description

Folios 241-242: [James Athol] Wood, HMS Acasta, Leith Roads. Encloses a letter from George Kennie, Midshipman, requesting a discharge to join Admiral Mitchell at Halifax.

Folios 243-244: enclosure with folios 241-242. Letter dated 21 January 1803 by George Kennie, HMS Acasta, Leith Roads, to the Admiralty. With the approval of Captain Wood asks for a discharge and to join Admiral Mitchell at Halifax.
