Folios 210-211: George Wolfe, HMS Aigle, Plymouth Sound. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Hastings which he received whilst awaiting his appearance at Plymouth before sailing in HMS Hind with his Officers and men to Portland. He will now proceed, contrary to orders from Sir John Colpoys, and asks for directions whether Lieutenant Hastings actions are justified and if he should be brought to trial.
Folio 212: enclosure with folios 210-211. Copy of undated letter from Lieutenant Hastings to Captain George Wolfe. About his excuse not to sail with George Wolfe to Dorchester and that he will deliver himself to the gaoler at Dorchester.
