Folios 380-381: Robert Warburton, Recruiting Captain Limerick. Encloses a survey of the slops supplied to the newly raised Men sent on the Commerce tender under Lieutenant Menzies who procured the beds. The latter can deal with the complaint. Concerning the shirts and stockings that were too small, this will be dealt with himself. Encloses the weekly return. Overleaf: An old bed was issued to Mr. Prothero.
Folio 382-383: enclosure with folios 380-381. Survey made on HMS Neptune, 28 November 1803. Pursers: William Page, the Salvador del Mundo, Thomas Godfrey, the Jamaica and William [Ashur ?] the Resolue, with the Clerk of the Survey and Storekeeper, Plymouth. 27 [Nov]? 1803. The survey was ordered by Sir John Colpoys, Admiral of the Blue Fleet, Plymouth. The survey of slops and bedding provided from the Rendezvous for the new raised Men from Limerick. Information on the quality and cost and the complaint of Mr. Prothero.
