Folios 371-372: Robert Warburton, Recruiting Captain Limerick. Responded to the directions for a General Impress afloat and on shore last Monday 7th. Of the 40 Men taken by Lieutenants and Gangs from houses frequented by Seafarers and the Lieutenant of the tender boarding vessels at the Quay; he is sorry to only keep 8 when it came to regulating. Some were unfit and some had protection. There are now 50 Men to send to Plymouth under Lieutenant Menzies in HM hired tender the Commerce and convoy with a brig laden with Government and East India provisions. He hope this is approved. Encloses the weekly return of Men raised.
