Folios 223-224: enclosure with folios 221-222. Letter dated 19 April 1803 by Birt Harris, London. Is enclosing Captain H. L. Ball's warrant as Senior officer at Batavia of 29 October 1800appointing John H. Collins Purser of HMS Daedalus in the room of Richard Broughton deceased.
Folio 225: enclosure with folios 221-222. Letter dated 29 October 1800 by Henry Lidgbird Ball, HMS Daedalus, Batavia. The appointment of John Horatio Collins, Clerk of HMS La Sybille to Acting Purser of HMS Daedalus.
