Folios 209-210: J. Waller. Port Captain, New Romney. Reports on the pikes delivered to the Sea Fencibles. In general they appear fit for their purpose. If the weak staffs found on trial are to be replaced, a stouter version would be better and made of young Ash which is available locally. He comments on the trials in a tabulated format.
