Folios 188-189: J. Waller. Port Captain, New Romney. He has travelled along the entire coast of his District and made Report. He visited the signals stations at Dungeness and Lymphne and observed the role of Lieutenants Corsellis and Roberts and their people. The signals are very difficult to see especially painted brown or red, if the posts were painted white this would attract the eye, so long they are not mistaken for a Bally[?]
