Folios 340-341: John Wood, HMS Concorde, Spithead. By the returns from the Lieutenants at the rendezvous, will be only 10 men short of the ship's complement (when the men from HMSs Clyde and Ranger have joined). Vice Admiral Gambier's order is to proceed to St John's and asks if the Officer at the rendezvous can be ordered to join his ship. Five men, John Peterson, John Cummings, James Ronnard, Samuel Bushley and John Martin, were sent from the rendezvous to HMSs Ranger and Autumn, which he can get no account of.
