Folios 337-338: John Wood, HMS Concorde, Spithead. Encloses a copy of an order from Vice Admiral Gambier. Lieutenant Jones of HMS Concorde at the rendezvous in town has informed him by letter that he has received orders from the Admiralty to enter no more men for HMS Isis. Asks if he should discharge the 46 men sent to Isis from HMS Concorde's books and enter others in their place.
Folio 339: enclosure with folios 337-338. Copy letter dated 16 July 1802 from Vice Admiral James Gambier, Commander in Chief at Newfoundland to John Wood, Captain of HMS Concorde. As soon as the rendezvous in London has entered sufficient men for HMSs Isis and Concorde, they are to proceed to St Johns in Newfoundland to await orders.
