Folios 290-291: Thomas Wolley, HMS Arethusa, Spithead. Encloses, as directed, a report by John Bayne, Surgeon of HMS Arethusa, on the nature of complaint of the Boatswain, HMS De Ruyter, who was sent back to England from Madeira on HMS Falcon.
Folios 292-293: enclosure with folios 290-291. Report dated 20 February 1802 by John Bayne, Surgeon, HMS Arethusa, on the reason why Henry Stevens, Boatswain, HMS De Ruyter, was unable to continue in service due to an ulcerated leg.
