Folios 215-216: Robert Williams, HMS Dryad, Spithead. Encloses a certificate by Captain Ferris to Malachi Morris, late Schoolmaster of HMS Hercule and who is now onboard his ship. Request for him to be granted a warrant as Schoolmaster on HMS Dryad. Also requests that Patrick Finn be given a warrant as Master at Arms as he is deserving and acting in that capacity on board.
Folio 217: enclosure with folios 215-216. Certificate dated 2 October 1802 from Captain Soloman Ferris that Malachi Morris served as Schoolmaster on HMS Hercule.
