Folios 75-76: Samuel Warren, HMS Vesuvius, Portsmouth Harbour. The bomb is fitted with ports for cannonades. The gun wharf has been ordered to supply her with 6 8lb long guns. Recommends that it would be better to arm her with 32 pound carronades.
