Captured ship: Little Orangia of Flushing [Klein Oranje] (commander Peter de Vos of Flushing, otherwise Pieter de Vos).
History: a Dutch privateer (100 tons, built at Flushing); taken in fight (lasting about 1 hour) on 14/24 January 1673/4 about 8 leagues SSW of the Mewstone [Great Mew Stone], Devon by HMS Dartmouth (Edward Pinn commanding) and brought into Plymouth on the night of 13-14/23-24 January 1673/4.
