Captured ship: Keizer of Zierikzee, otherwise Keiser or Cuyzer (master Giles Hayes of Zierikzee otherwise Gillis Hase, Gillis Ijmansse Haese)
History: a Dutch merchant ship or fishing vessel (dogger, 40 tons/8 lasts, built at Zierikzee), bound to Zierikzee, laden with cod fish; taken on 27 July/6 August 1673 on the Dogger Bank by the privateer Hopewell (William Atkinson commanding), and brought into Harwich on 4/14 August 1673.
