Folios 203-204: Thomas Wilson, HMS Expedition, Downs. Reply In reply to yours of yesterday I have to observe that all baggage of the 40th Regiment was embarked by Thursday? morning 8 o'clock, the officers and men working all night and it was never my intention to leave any behind. I lost no time to leave those Roads and have this morning with my Little Squadron put myself under the orders of Captain Benjamin William Page of HMS Inflexible.
