Folios 201-202: Thomas Wilson, HMS Expedition, Margate Roads. Reply to letter dated 29 March 1800 stating their disapproval of the delay in sailing. Inform that no delay whatever has or shall take place, the baggage of the 2nd Battalion (not all of it arrived) and what is now on the Pier at Dover came too late for yesterdays tied and cannot be embarked today until high water between 3 and 4 o'clock. I will proceed to the Downs early in the morning.
