Description

Folio 140, Union Hall.

Information: George Williams, accused of committing several burglaries, Kent and Surrey.

William Tremain and James Jeffries, accused of stealing a number of tools, Saint George, victim: Edward Mordan, outcome: Remanded.

John Hawkins, accused under the Vagrant Act, being a suspected person intent on committing a felony, Dover Road, Saint Mary Newington, outcome: Committed to Brixton for three months.

John Rooney, John Gee, Edward Laurence and John Vickery, on re-examination, outcome: Committed for trial at Surrey Assizes.

John Doubleday, on re-examination, outcome: Discharged for want of evidence.

Joseph Pocock and William Toms, on re-examination, outcome: Committed for trial at Surrey Assizes.

George Peters, on re-examination, outcome: Discharged of that charge but convicted of non payment of previous fine. Committed to Brixton for one month.

John Aldridge, accused as a vagrant with intent to commit a felony, George Row, Bermondsey, outcome: Committed to Brixton for two months.
