Information: Attempted break-in of a counting-house by persons, Commercial Road, Waterloo Bridge, victim: Mr Churchill.
John Chambers, accused of unlawfully possessing sixteen pounds weight of rope and three pecks of coals which had been stolen, Rotherhithe, outcome: Convicted of a misdemeanour and fined twenty shillings.
Thomas Atkins, accused of unlawfully possessing two crape dresses and one crape scarf, West India Docks, outcome: Discharged as to the misdemeanour but the dresses and scarf sent to the Custom House.
John Burk, re-examined, accused of stealing one bag, a jacket, four shoes, a flannel frock and two flannel shirts, Blackwall, victim: Martin Grace, outcome: Re-committed.
