Description

Folio 133, Worship Street.

Information: House broken open and ninety-five sovereigns and twenty five pounds in silver and two shirts and a silk gown stolen, Bethnal Green Road, victim: Mrs. Lancaster.

Information: House broken open and one silver gravy spoon, two table-spoons and various other items of cutlery and one green silk umbrella and one brown silk umbrella stolen, Cambridge Row, Hackney Road, victim: Mr Thomas Newsom.

Sarah Copeland, accused of stealing a bed, a bolster, two sheets, two blankets, three chairs, a candlestick, a quilt, a saucepan and a stove, Shoreditch, victim: John Godson, outcome: Committed to Newgate for trial.

Harriet Simons, accused of stealing two sovereigns in a house of 'ill fame', Saint Luke, victim: Joseph Bristol, outcome: Discharged.

Mary Benjamin, accused of stealing six shawls, two remnants of silk and other materials, Saint Luke, outcome: For re-examination.
