Description

Folio 99, Thames Police.

Information: Breaking and entering; theft of 30 pounds in money, Shakespear's Walk, Shadwell, victim: Thomas Young.

Ephraim Allen Ayre (alias William Barchard), accused of stealing and pawning two shirts, a frock, two pair of stockings, a waistcoat, a pair of trousers, a jacket, and a pair of shoes, Shadwell.

Sarah Ann Peterson, accused of possessing unlawfully procured beef and some biscuits, Ratcliff Highway, outcome: Convicted of a misdemeanour and fined.

Julia Sweney, accused of being concerned with Maria Hewit in stealing three sovereigns and a handkerchief, Shadwell, victim: William Maffam, outcome: Discharged.

Michael Lynch, on re-examination, outcome: Recommitted.

John Rew, accused of stealing one fowl, London Docks, victim: John Scott, outcome: Newgate for trial.

John Smith, on re-examination, outcome: Discharged.
