Description

Folio 81, Worship Street.

Information: Robbery of a tin box containing a quantity of gold wire value seven pounds, Old Street, Saint Luke's, victim: Joseph Wine.

Reported crime: Robbery and assault by six or seven men who stole his hat, Ballyard, Golden Lane, victim: Nathaniel George Clarke.

James Phillips, accused of stealing a pair of shoes, Shoreditch, victim: Thomas Blizard, outcome: Committed to Newgate for trial.

Margaret Corcoran and Michael Igoe, accused of stealing a silver watch and three sovereigns, Whitechapel, victim: Thomas Martin, outcome: Discharged.

John Robson, accused of embezzling from his master, Shoreditch, victim: Joseph Henshaw, outcome: Discharged.

Joseph Childs, accused of stealing a purse, Shoreditch, victim: George Bispham, outcome: For re-examination.

Robert Button and William Brian, accused of being rogues and vagabonds to wit, wandering abroad and lodging in the open air, Bethnal Green, outcome: Convicted and committed to House of Correction to hard labour for one month.
