Description

Folio 79, Lambeth Street.

Jane Cope, accused of stealing a metal watch with red ribbon and a small gold seal, 18 Ellen Street, Back Church Lane, victim: Amelia Markham.

Reported crime: Entering and stealing a blue coat, a pair of black trousers, a calico sheet, one gown and one pillow-case, Marlborough Court, Stepney Green, victim: Elizabeth Davis.

Reported crime: Breaking and entering and stealing old lead, Bow, victim: Mr Crawley.

Sarah Wood, Ann Jones and Ann Wilson, accused of stealing a jacket, two sovereigns and three pounds in silver, Blue Anchor Yard, Rosemary Lane, victim: John Blackburn, outcome: Discharged.

Jane Cope, accused of stealing a watch, victim: John Markham, outcome: Committed for re-examination.

Jarvis Murrell, William Connerly and John Bull, accused of stealing a quantity of lead, Bow, victim: Mr R E Crawley, outcome: Discharged as to felony and convicted of being rogues and vagabonds and committed to the House of Correction for two months.
