Description

Folio 59, Thames.

Information: Theft of 13 sovereigns, one sheet, one shift, one night gown, two towels, and some child's linen, Garden Place, Poplar, victim: William Stanton.

Information: Theft of one timepiece and one silver watch, Providence Place, Poplar, victim: Mrs. Millwood.

James Clark, accused of intent to commit felony, Shadwell, outcome: Convicted as a rogue and vagabond; House of Correction hard labour for three calendar months.

Lewis Levy, re-examined, outcome: Discharged.

Mary Haggerty, accused of stealing a jacket, Shadwell, outcome: Discharged.

William Sewell, accused of stealing three sovereigns, one half sovereign, and six shillings, Refuge for the Houseless, St. George, victim: Frederick Leonardo, outcome: Newgate for trial.

William Granger, accused of Intent to commit felony, outcome: Felony discharged; convicted as a rogue and vagabond; House of Correction hard labour for three calendar months.

William Baman, re-examined, outcome: Felony discharged; convicted of a misdemeanour and fined.
