Description

Folio 36, Union Hall.

Information: Break in, nothing stolen, victim: Mr. Winne, Hunter Street.

Information: Theft of gold and silver, principally sovereigns, Blind School, London Road, Southwark.

Thomas Snashall, accused of stealing two sacks, Christchurch, outcome: Committed for re-examination.

John Hinckley and Charles Tanner, accused of Burglary [18 January 1828], Mitcham, victim: Henry Hart, outcome: Committed for re-examination.

Samuel Gaskin and Edward Bird, accused of burglary, outcome: Discharged.

James Ray, accused of stealing carpet, St. George's, victim: Jonathan Evans, outcome: County Gaol for trial.

David Knott, Matthew Hill and William Simmons, being found in unentered premises, in the manufacturing of glass, outcome: Fined; and in default of payment committed for three months to hard labour at Brixton.

Reported crime: Theft of bridles; saddles; chaise harness, brass furniture; and reins, King's-arms livery stables, Trinity Street, Borough, reward or information: 10 pounds reward.

Reported crime: Theft of a pair of silver spectacles, an old silver watch, three or four large smelling bottles, 20 shillings in silver, 5 or 6 shillings in copper, a large medal, a gold seal and two gold keys, two or three aprons, five silver threepenny pieces, odd trinkets, two good penknives, Blackman Street, Borough, victim: Mr. Oram.

Reported crime: Theft of a horse and cart with harness, off London Bridge, reward or information: 5 pounds reward.

Reported crime: Theft of a dark bay saddle mare, double-headed bridle, single snaffle bridle, new saddle, Perry-hill, Cliffe, near Rochester, victim: John Hulme, Esq., reward or information: J. Gibbs, Solicitor, and Secretary to the Prosecuting Society of the Hundreds of Shamel and Hoo, and Isle of Grain, Strood, Kent; 30 guineas reward.
