Folios 323-324: Thomas Wolley, HMS Arethusa, Spithead. Advising that his ship had run aground under the Cape Barfleur lighthouse the previous day, in a thick fog. The weather was moderate and they managed to get her off again, with the loss of all but one anchor, and the guns before the mainmast, but she has continually made between five and six feet of water since they got her afloat and he has judged it necessary to go into Spithead. Feels it essential she is taken into dock for immediate repairs.
