Folios 300-301: Isaac Wolley, HMS Nonsuch. Having received the Admiralty's order of 23 November 1799, he immediately complied by sending a sergeant and 3 marines to Lincoln, to fetch William Hill and Francis North, private marines taken up (and lodged in Lincoln Jail) as stragglers from the Nonsuch. However the sergeant returned yesterday with a certificate signed by the jailer saying he had delivered the men up to a party of marines sent from the Chatham HQ at their Lordships' command. Now asking that the two men should be returned to the ship as soon as possible, or two others sent in their stead. Also asks for a replacement for another marine, William Burke, who has deserted. The men are needed to make up the complement of 14 marines at Hull.
