Folios 296-297: Isaac Wolley, HMS Nonsuch. Advising that by the desire of Captain Charles White of HMS Vestal, senior officer in the Humber, who intends sailing as soon as the wind permits, he is enclosing a letter received the previous day from B. Boyle, captain of the imperial Russian ship Raphael, requesting a survey to be carried out on his ship. Wolley says he awaits their Lordships' decision as to how to proceed. Folios 298-299: enclosure with folios 296-297. Letter dated 30 October 1799 from the Russian captain, Boyle, asking Captain Wolley to authorise a survey of the Raphael.
