Folios 270-271: Isaac Wolley, HMS Nonsuch. Has received a letter from Richard Woodyear, the ship's carpenter, who has been in sick quarters since 20 June 1799 and continues in very bad health, and who now asks that another carpenter may be appointed. Says Thomas Smithson, carpenter's mate, has been the acting carpenter for the duration.
