Folios 222-223: Isaac Wolley, HMS Nonsuch. Advising that he has given orders to Lieutenant Harrison, commanding the armed brig Hart, to proceed off Scarborough and cruise for the protection of HM trade and 'annoyance of the enemy' until 23 January 1799, and then to follow his former orders. This is in consequence of information he received from the commander of HM Forces stationed there that a French privateer cutter was in the offing as of the previous day.
