Folios 205-206: Charles Wollaston, HMS Cruizer, off Berwick. In response to an Admiralty letter of 10 June, regarding Francis Wigmore, explains that it was entirely his misunderstanding of their Lordships' letter of 6 April and Mr Marsden's of the 8th - the first giving the description 'Ordinary' and the second referring to two of equal qualifications, but that rereading he could see it was only a suggestion of Mr Thomas Pool's and that two of equal qualifications are to be sent in lieu of Wigmore. He will therefore not discharge him until that is complied with.
