Folios 193-194: Charles Wollaston, HMS Cruizer, Harwich. Advising that the wind has continued to blow adversely, from the west, ever since he received his orders to proceed to Sheerness. There is little prospect of change but the builder has now revised his opinion and thinks he can remedy the defects of the ship by hauling her onto a slip - as there are no other vessels present except the Astra and the Ranger, both leaving very soon, Wollaston thinks it will be much quicker to get her refitted here than at Sheerness.
