Folios 377-378: Charles White, HMS Vestal, Humber. Covering letter for one from Lieutenant Thomas Muir stating that his infirmities render him incapable of employment at this time and requests to be superceded. Request Lieutenant Alexander Richardson be appointed in his place.
Folios 379-380: enclosure with folios 377-378. Letter dated 26 January 1799 by Lieutenant Thomas Muir, HMS Vestal, Hull. Request to be superceded due to ill health.
