Folios 279-280. A letter from [Colonel] James Murray to Lord [Viscount Weymouth?] concerning changes to the uniform of his regiment [the 77th Foot, or the 81st] introducing green facings. Requests the recipient to advise the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, so that the Board of General Officers might be authorised to approve the pattern. [For confusion over which regiment is referred to, see SP 63/461/306]. Dated at Manchester Buildings.
