Folios 199-200. A letter from [Sir] Ri [Richard] Heron to Sir Stanier Porten concerning Lieutenant Doughty of 32nd Foot [who has been absent without leave since 18 March 1778; see SP 63/461/145, SP 63/461/163 and SP 63/461/179]. No satisfactory account has been received, and it is proposed that the succession outlined in the Lord Lieutenant's letter of 30 September 1778 [recommending Cornet Nicholas Colthurst to the Lieutenancy, with Mr Cornelius Cayley being appointed Cornet] should now take effect. Dated at Dublin Castle.
