Folios 365-366: Thomas Wolley, HMS Arethusa. Gives an account of action against a French corvette La Gaiete on 20 August 1797 . Mentions he had taken a ship from Surinam under Prussian colours in tow, suspecting her to be Dutch property. Encloses a return of killed and wounded.
Folios 367-368: enclosure with folios 365-366. Return of killed and wounded in action against La Gaiete. 1 seaman killed, 2 wounded and W.D. Morton, the Captain's Clerk lost his leg. 2 seamen killed , 8 wounded on La Gaiete, M. Guine Commander.
Folio 369: enclosure with folios 365-366. Office/Registry memo. Records that the letter was sent to William Bedford 13 February 1835.
