Folios 336-337: Isaac Wolley, HMS Nonsuch. He refers to corespondence about Walter Tarrand a seaman from HMS Adamant. While the man was on leave, HMS Adamant sailed for the East Indies. He has come on board HMS Nonsuch. Captain Wolley says he does not think the sailor is to blame for this mishap and so he should not lose any wages. On that basis he does not intend to send in the sailor's ticket on the grounds of desertion. He hopes the Admiralty approves of his actions.
