Folios 341-342: Josiah Wittman, HMS Suffisante. Informs their Lordships that he requested a replacement for the Purser Robert Payne as he had been off sick for 3 months forcing he himself to see to the purchase of coal. If his health is restored he would be happy to have Payne back as in health he does his duty well.
